About
Anna is a Registered nurse and Therapist with over two decades of experience working in Specialist Mental Health services. She recently transitioned into private practice, where she is dedicated to supporting her clients on their journey towards psychological well-being.
Anna’s approach is centred around creating a non-judgmental, open, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment. She recognises the unique needs of each individual and tailors her evidence-based treatments accordingly, drawing from a range of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,( CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, (EMDR), and Schema Therapy.
Throughout her career, Anna has gained extensive experience in helping individuals navigate various challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, stress and burnout, trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders, and body image concerns. Her aim is to empower her clients to increase self-compassion, recognise their strengths, build resilience, and cope with life’s challenges.
Anna enjoys spending time with her family and beloved dog, as well as exploring the great outdoors through bushwalking or relaxing by the sea.
