Steph is a registered Social Worker and Therapist with 20 years wide-ranging experience working with children, youth, families and adults in specialist mental health, health, community and residential settings. Steph also works as a Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) in a general practice.
Steph is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and has worked with children, adolescents and adults with a range of anxiety and mood disorders, perfectionism, age and stage transitions, gender diversity, sleep, eating disorders and trauma. Steph is warm and engaging, working alongside the client tailoring treatment to individual needs. Steph values empowering others and works towards collaborative therapeutic goals. She uses a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), systems theory, and with a Pākehā nod to te Ao Māori.
Steph provides EMDR to children, adolescents and adults.
Steph is a lover of the outdoors, enjoying tramping and going fast on a bike.
